Prefinished flooring can come in engineered flooring, solid hardwood flooring, or laminate flooring and comes in a variety of colors. Prefinished flooring is also made by a number of different companies but the three shown in the pictures are the top leading prefinished flooring companies. You can visit the three prefinished flooring companies websites by clicking on one of the pictures shown above.

Unfinished cherry flooring is a great way to add true value to your home. It does not have any bevels on the boards like most prefinished flooring so some customers like it better because it is easier to clean without the bevels on the boards. Unfinished cherry can also be stained to whatever desired color the customer is looking for. The process to installing unfinished hardwood floors is a little more involved than the prefinished flooring, but the unfinished flooring does have its advantages. For one unfinished flooring is sanded to make it more level of a floor if your underlayment floor is a little bit unlevel. It all depends on the customers preference to weather they go with a prefinished floor or an unfinished floor
